This means that whether your watching live or looking at a recording, you are viewing it a real time without slow motion or delayed picture. The DM-DV-Star-412i has triplex function, which enables the user to remotely view from any PC or laptop that has internet connection anywhere in the world. You can remotely view live and playback with no interruption to the continued recording at the camera location. This feature gives the user the ability to aware of what is happening (view at any given time) at the camera location whether away on vacation or on a business trip. This is a powerful and necessary tool to supervise your location. The system comes with a 250GB Hard drive and a built-in CDRW. The hard drive records till its full, and then does a loop and starts rerecording over itself (recycling). This ensures continued uninterrupted recording with no need to restart. The system can be left alone until an incident which needs to be saved occurs. In this case, you need to simply put a CD in the CDRW and download the needed incident onto the CD. The DM-DV-Star-412i has an additional very important feature called the Watermark. The watermark is a feature which in scripts the date and time of the incident being recorded on the CD. A watermarked CD cannot be changed or altered. This is a necessary feature if you want the CD to be used as evidence by the police or courts. Systems that don’t have the watermark feature are not being approved as evidence because they could have been changed and therefore compromised.
