The Sony SNC-DF70N is a day/night dome network security camera in an aluminum die cast rugged housing. It has a high impact resistant polycarbonate clear dome, with both AC24V and Ethernet power capability. The dome is weather resistant to IP66 standards which details protection from most electrical, dust and moisture penetration.

Camera features

Day and Night Surveillance: This network camera can be used in almost any lighting situation with very high quality results. In well lighted environments the camera will require less than 1 Lux to generate excellent quality color images with almost 500 lines of resolution. During nighttime scenarios the camera switches into black and white image mode. It requires only 0.2 Lux for very detailed pictures.

Ethernet Control and Monitoring: The SNC-DF70N has a built-in web server so that the images from the camera can be viewed and controlled over a computer network. The camera's browser interfaces with Explorer 5.5 or higher and requires 256mb RAM.

Selectable Compression Schemes: This network camera can output compressed images in either JPEG or MPEG4 standards. JPEG compressed images can be viewed simultaneously by a maximum of 20 users. MPEG4 compressed data can be seen by up to 10 user at the same time.

Video and Audio: The SNC-DF70N can output audio as well as video. A microphone can be connected through a mini jack to supply audio with the high resolution video.
